Sheri Lynn (Rabourn) Stevenson

Sheri Lynn (Rabourn) Stevenson, 59, of Sedalia, passed away Sunday evening, November 13, 2022, at her home, surrounded by her children.

She was born March 2, 1963, in Gulf Port, MS, daughter of William Rabourn Sr. and Carol (Smith) Rabourn.

Sheri loved her family and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She liked to get her family together for barbecues and dinners. She enjoyed gardening, cross stitch and playing Mahjong.

She loved talking about her Lord, attending church with her father, and studying the Bible. She was always willing to help anyone who needed it. Lovingly known as “Momma Sheri” to many, she was well loved and will be greatly missed.

Surviving are two children, Traci Spencer (Shawn) of Sedalia, and Brad Rabourn (Brittany) of Marshall; her father, William Rabourn, Sr. of Sedalia; five grandchildren, Kayden, Bella, Zayne, Savannah and Trinity; three bonus grandchildren, Enzo, Ember and Hazlynn; a brother, William Bradley Rabourn Jr. (Cindy) of Springfield; two nephews, Tripp and Chase; and aunt, Mary Peterson.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Carol Rabourn; grandparents, Jesse and Evelyn Rabourn, and Rev. Clarence and Bessie Smith; and uncle, Harold Peterson.

A Celebration of Sheri’s Life will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, November 19, 2022 at First United Methodist Church Celebration Center, with Rev. Candace Fowler officiating.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Brown Jr., Buddy Summers, Cody Evans, Matthew Hopkins, Shawn Spencer, Thomas Williams and Rob Lynch.

Sheri will be buried in a private ceremony at a later date in Crown Hill Cemetery.

Memorials contributions are suggested to American Cancer Society.

Arrangements are in the care of Heckart Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
