Aaron Clark Hunton, 47, of Sedalia, passed away suddenly Sunday evening, January 29, 2023, at Bothwell Regional Health Center.
He was born May 24, 1975, in Kansas City, a son of Gerald C. and Faye (Rozier) Hunton. He found the love of his life, and on November 13, 2010, in Sedalia, he married Melissa N. Phillips.
Aaron was a 1993 graduate of Smith-Cotton High School and graduated from UCM with an MBA. He owned and operated Game Zone Comics & Games.
Aaron never met a stranger and could talk to anybody about anything. He had a quick wit, loved to make people laugh, and could lighten the mood in any situation. He was a collector of all things and loved playing games with family. The thing he enjoyed most was being a daddy to his five children. He will be remembered as charismatic, loving, and funny.
He was a member of Parkview Christian Church.
Survivors include his wife, Melissa, of the home; five children, Austin Hunton (Sasha), Samuel Hunton, Noah Hunton, Isaiah Hunton and Levi Hunton; his parents, Gerald and Faye Hunton, of Sedalia; and grandchildren, Alphonse, Jasper and Elliot (who is on the way).
He was preceded in death by a brother, Daren Mark, his identical twin who was stillborn.
