Ada Beatrice Wallenburn, 93, of Otterville, passed away on Thursday, October 12, 2017, at Katy Manor in Pilot Grove.

She was born June 3, 1924, near Otterville, the daughter of Arthur Dover Sanders and Matilda Katrina Brodersen Sanders.

On February 26, 1946, she was married to Joseph A. Wallenburn, who died August 27, 1995.

Survivors include her daughter, Judith Ann Simmons (Mark), of Otterville; a daughter-in-law, Pamela J. Wallenburn, of Otterville; grandchildren, Matthew Simmons, of Syracuse, Marci Williams (Jared), of Syracuse, Ginger Cordes (Larry), of Otterville, Angie Creamer (Josh), of Sturgeon, and Kim Wallenburn, of Otterville; great-grandchildren, Beth and Brooke Creamer, Zachary Cordes, Jerra, Clara and Ella Williams.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; a brother, Carrol A. Sanders; sister-in-law, Malva Gehlken; and two granddaughters, Kay and Jill Wallenburn.

She worked outside the home at The Bank of Otterville, cashier and office work at J.C. Penney, Goodyear Tire and Rubber, The Smithton Bank for 23 years, Garber Motor, and Oligschlaeger Equipment.

She enjoyed her grandchildren and homemaking duties.

She was a member of First Baptist Church of Otterville and the American Legion Auxiliary.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church of Otterville, with the Rev. Russ Slocum officiating.

Casket bearers will be Robert Phillips, Donald Brodersen, Jay Fowler, Cary Brodersen, John Brodersen, and Jerry Sanders.

Honorary bearers will be Charles Brodersen, EH Fowler, Paul Watring, Arthur Fry, Jim Zumsteg, Ophelia Williams, Mary Etta Streeter, and Mary Elizabeth Sanders.

Burial will be in I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Otterville.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church of Otterville.

Memorial contributions are suggested to American Heart Association, First Baptist Church or Katy Manor Activity Fund.

Arrangements are in the care of Heckart Funeral Home.
