In Loving Memory…
Alberta Jean Ellison, 85, of Sedalia, passed away Sunday, November 27, 2022, at Rest Haven Convalescent and Retirement Home.
She was born November 1, 1937, in Sedalia, daughter of Albert E. and Glenna E. Davis.
In 1959, she was married to John Ellison, who preceded her in death in 1996.
Alberta worked at Inter-State Studio for 35 years. She was a member of Parkview Christian Church and the Rebekah Lodge. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting. She will be remembered as a beautiful, sweet lady who always did for others.
Surviving are two children, Tammie Scott (Mark) of Sedalia, and John Ellison (Nora) of Highland, CA; a grandson, Mark “Little Mark” Scott Jr.; and a sister, Jan Thornton (Don) of Sedalia.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Melvin Davis and Albert Davis; a sister, Lois Seifner; and a sister in infancy.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date in Crown Hill Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Association.
Arrangements are in the care of Heckart Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
