Alfonso Limas

SSG ARMY

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Alfonso (Cochise) Limas, a proud veteran who honorably served his country in The Marines & The Army. Cochise was a man of great passion, known for his love of fishing and hunting, where he found peace in the great outdoors.

Above all, Cochise was a devoted Christian who loved the Lord. His faith was the foundation of his life, guiding him in his love for his family and his kindness toward others. He had a gift for cooking, and he never missed an opportunity to share a good joke, filling the room with laughter. We are sure he is in Heaven asking about BigFoot.

His legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering faith will forever be remembered by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Survivors include his Mother, Maria (Valdez) Limas; Stepmother, Diane Limas; Siblings: Arnold Limas, Jose (Joey) Casimiro Limas, Marcial (Machie) Limas, Juanita Maria Ramos, Mary Patricia Cabbiness, Arlene Elizabeth Limas, Jesus (Jesse) Andrade, and Noel Andrade; Loving Aunts & Uncles, Nieces & Nephews and Great Nieces & Nephews; Caregiver & Loving Nephew Justyce Newbill (Melissa Limas-Atkinson); and Beloved Dog, Petey Limas.

He was preceded in death by his Father, Arnulfo Limas; and Wives, Theresa and Debra.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Saturday, February 22, 2025, at Heckart Funeral Home, where funeral services will begin at 3:00 p.m., with military honors to follow.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Disabled American Veterans https://www.dav.org in Cochise’s memory.

Rest in peace, Cochise. Your love, laughter, and faith will remain in our hearts forever.
