Alvin Ray Morrison, 64, of Sedalia, passed away Thursday, May 12, 2016, at Bothwell Regional Health Center.
He was born October 3, 1951, at Madonna Hospital in Denison, TX, son of Robert E. and Velma F. West Morrison, who preceded him in death. He was the grandson of Mary Webb Morrison, of Denison, formerly of Hagerman, TX, and she was the daughter of James Patillo (J.P.), one of the founders of Hagerman, TX.
On June 1, 1994, in Denison, he married Suzanne Pace, who survives of the home.
Alvin worked for Maxion Wheels as a project engineer. He was a member of Hyde Park Presbyterian Church in Denison. Alvin loved to fly and used to be a pilot. He also enjoyed hunting and drag racing.
In addition to his wife, survivors include four sons, Michael Morrison, of Rogers, AR, Stephen Morrison (Leslie), of Tulsa, OK, Bobby Morrison, of Bella Vista, AR, and Jim Morrison (Kristie), of Bella Vista, AR; a stepson, Michael Pace, of Ripley, TN; seven grandchildren; and a sister, Rebecca Hersey (Lee), of Pottsboro, TX.
Memorial services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 21, 2016, at Hyde Park Presbyterian Church in Denison.
Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 17, at Heckart Funeral Home.
