Ann Louise Norman, 77, of Waverly, passed away Thursday, March 10, 2022 at The Essex in Sedalia.
She was born April 20, 1944, in Jackson County, OK, daughter of the late Neil and Margaret (Hood) Smith. She was raised near Buffalo, MO, until she moved to Marshall where she went to high school. She was married to Ralph Norman in 1971 who preceded her death in 1994.
Ann worked as a caregiver at the Marshall Habilitation Center for 30 years retiring in 2002. She worked as a caregiver in group homes in Marshall, helping people with disabilities after her retirement.
Surviving are five children, Steve Halsey (Annie), Keith Halsey (Jill), Christine Brown (Phillip), Warren Norman (Tracy) and Jason Norman (Jaquiline); and three step-children, Jesse Norman, Cindy Buboltz (Gary) and Linda Lilienthal; 14 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a step-son, Richard Norman.
There are no services planned at this time.
Arrangements are under the direction of Heckart Funeral Home.
