Ann M. Phillips

Ann M. Phillips, 77, of Rolla, passed away on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at Silverstone Place in Rolla. She was born on April 22, 1947, in Sedalia to Johnny and Bettye (Field) Murrell.

In 1980, Ann married Edmund Earl Phillips, Jr., who preceded her in death on August 31, 2024.

Ann had a passion for reading, traveling on cruises and abroad, and adored her dogs. She cherished many lifelong friendships, some that dated back to her childhood. Known for her caring nature and inquisitive mind, Ann was also dedicated to her community through her volunteer work with Meals on Wheels.

She is survived by her son, Edmund Phillips, III, and his wife Brittney, of Rolla; two sisters-in-law, Lee Ellen Phillips of Tulsa, OK, and Bea D. Hotz of Littleton, CO; along with two nieces and one nephew.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 23, 2025, at Heckart Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service.

A private burial will take place in Memorial Park Cemetery.
