Memorial services were held for Barbara Ann Eberting, 85, of Sedalia; who passed away Saturday, April 18, 2015, at Sylvia G. Thompson Residence Center.
She was born May 14, 1929, south of Clinton, the daughter of Audie and Myra (Doak) Foster.
She was a graduate of Clinton High School.
Barbara married Linville Eberting on January 16, 1948. They were married for 51 years until Linville’s death in 1999.
Barbara is survived by one son, Linville Eberting (Mary), of Sedalia; three daughters, Patricia Ferguson (Bill), of Sedalia, Dianna Greene (Pete), of Knob Noster, and Sharon Hawley (Tom), of Cary, North Carolina; seven grandchildren, Caleb Greene (Abbie), of Liberty, Travis Greene, of Sedalia, Jovanna Eberting, of Malta Bend, Ezekiel Eberting (Jessica), of Sedalia, Kirk Hawley (Jen Tat), of Richmond, Virginia, Kirstin Croucher (Luke), of Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina, and Megan Ferguson, of Columbia; 14 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Venita Starr, of Independence.
She was preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband, Linville; one grandson, Joshua Lynn Eberting; one brother, Paul Doak Foster; and one sister, Audine Salmons.
Memorials are suggested to Crossroads Hospice or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
