Barbara A. Forrest
Barbara Ann Forrest, 82, of La Monte, passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2017, at her home.
She was born May 4, 1934, in Rochester, MN, daughter of Darrell William Fischer and Esther Josephine (Williams) Fischer.
On November 17, 1957, in Las Vegas, NV, she was married to William Bailey Forrest, who preceded her in death on June 11, 1997.
Barbara enjoyed crocheting, needlework and art. She had a contagious sense of humor. She was caring and always gave a listening ear.
Surviving are a daughter, Belinda Forbes, and son-in-law, Earl Forbes, of La Monte; two grandchildren, Michael Rich Rockwell and Cheyanne Dawnn Forbes; and a sister, Elizabeth Theresa Bratcher, of Minnesota.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, William John Rockwell; a sister, Esther Williams; and a brother, George Earl Fischer.
No services are planned.
Cremation arrangements are in the care of Heckart Funeral Home.
