Barbara R. Henderson

Barbara Rose Henderson, 69, of Sedalia, passed away Monday, September 16, 2024, at her home.

She was born August 29, 1955, in Jefferson City, daughter of the late Frederick “Budgie” and Norma (Albin) Inman. On July 9, 1981, in Sedalia, she married Dennis M. Henderson, who survives of the home.

Barbara loved being with her family, especially her two grandsons. She enjoyed tending to her plants and flowers, working in her yard, and going to the lake. She loved celebrating the holidays. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. 

In addition to her husband, Dennis, survivors include a daughter, Ashley Sleeper (Jonathan), of Sedalia; two grandsons, Landon and Lucas; a brother, Rick Inman; and her two beloved dogs, Samara and Snickers.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Mark Inman.

Visitation will be 10:00 to 11:30 am Thursday, September 19, 2024, at Heckart Funeral Home. 

Funeral service will begin at 11:30 am with Rev. Candace Fowler officiating.

Pallbearers will be Jonathan Sleeper, Josh Sleeper, Daniel Sleeper, Ben Bohanon, Josh Moore and Bob Snoddy. Honorary pallbearers will be Landon Sleeper and Lucas Sleeper.

Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
