Barbara Jo Bartholomew, 55, of Sedalia, passed away Saturday, April 8, 2017, at her home.
She was born December 1, 1961, in San Antonio, TX, daughter of William Strunk and Juanita (Perry) Strunk, who preceded her in death. She was married to Jim Bartholomew, who preceded her in death.
Barbara’s family was her life, especially her grandchildren. She will be remembered as a loving and caring person who was always there for everyone.
Surviving are two children, Nicole Haines, of Sedalia, and Ryan Haines, of Independence; five grandchildren, Kylah, Xadrian, Adarian, Tye and Remington; and six siblings, William Strunk, John Strunk, Judy Bennett, Debbie Strunk, Dan Strunk and Connie Bain.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Gregory Haines; brother, Robert Strunk; and sister, Rhonda Mittenburg.
A Celebration of Life will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 14, at Heckart Funeral Home, with Jeff Page officiating.
Honorary pallbearers will be Zach Rayl and Tye Gropper.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time Friday at the funeral home.
Burial will be at a later date in Highland Sacred Gardens.
Memorials are suggested to the family.
