In Loving Memory

Barbara Jane Shroyer, 90, of Sedalia, passed away Saturday, May 4, 2013, at her home.

She was born August 10, 1922, in Higginsville, MO, daughter of Ross Marcellus and Myra Greer Handly.

On October 20, 1967, in Lexington, MO, she married John Wayne Shroyer, who preceded her in death in February 1992.

Mrs. Shroyer worked for Honeywell Bendix. She was a member of Abundant Harvest Worship Center. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, reading, gardening and was a world traveler.

Surviving are nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by brothers, Marcellus G. Handly, James A. Handly, Jack R. Handly and William G. Handly; and sister, Ella Mae Hoehn.

Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 11, followed by a Celebration of Life at 2:30 p.m. at Abundant Harvest Worship Center, with Pastors Tony and Merry Kroeger officiating.

Burial will be in Oak Grove Community Church Cemetery near Higginsville.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the church.
