Betty Lue Enoch, 80, of Sedalia, died Friday, January 25, 2013, at her daughter’s home in Sedalia.
She was born January 27, 1932, in Ridgeway, PA, daughter of William and Hazel Minor Polm. She was married to Eugene O. Haynes, who preceded her in death on October 21, 1963. On September 14, 1964, in Buffalo, NY, she married Robert C. Enoch Sr., who preceded her in death on October 27, 1998.
She enjoyed quilting, reading, sewing, crossword puzzles and spending time with her grandchildren. She worked as a nurse. She was a Catholic.
Surviving are seven children, Cheryle Haehl, of New York, Linda Carlson (Jim), of Sedalia, Paula Lange (Carl), of Columbia, Karen Kelly (Steve), of Georgia, Kimberly Whorton (Brian), of Sedalia, Gene Haynes, of Florida, and Gary Enoch (Janny), of Arizona; a half-sister, Ruth Grove, of Pennsylvania; 13 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husbands and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Robert C. Enoch Jr.; a son-in-law, John Haehl; two half-sisters; and a half-brother.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday at Heckart Funeral Home.
Casket bearers will be Matthew Carlson, Jim Carlson, Brian Whorton, Lucas Carlson, Sara Allen and Shawn Allen.
Burial will be in Highland Sacred Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Sunday at Heckart Funeral Home, with the Prayers of the Rosary at 3:00 p.m.
