Billy L. Bozarth

Billy Lee Bozarth, 87, of Sedalia, died Monday, December 30, 2019 at Sylvia G. Thompson Residence Center.

He was born June 28, 1932, in Sedalia, son of Willie Edward and Ines Ann (Nowlin) Bozarth.

He was married to Dorothy Spry, who preceded him in death, and was later married to Betty Lou Miller, who preceded him in death on August 30, 2002.

Billy was the owner and operator of Billy Bozarth Trash Hauling. He was a hard worker. In his younger years, he enjoyed dancing, and camping with his family.

Surviving are his son, Willie Ugene Bozarth, of Sedalia; a daughter, Shelly Bozarth, of Sedalia; three grandchildren, Blake, Kierra and Mason; two step-grandchildren; and a brother, John Bozarth (Virginia), of Sedalia.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a stepson, Jackie Cooper.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 3, 2020 at Heckart Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.

Burial will be in New Bethel Cemetery, south of Sedalia.
