Bobby Wright

Bobby Wright was born on January 18, 1965 to the late Charlie White and Betty Wright and raised on the Westside of Chicago.

Bobby attended Bethune Elementary School and Collins High School, later he completed his General Education Diploma and then furthered his education at Lincoln Technical Institute.

Bobby relocated from Chicago, IL to Sedalia, Mo where he then met and married Jennifer (Harvey) Hunter. Bobby and Jennifer were married on October 17, 2005 in an intimate environment amongst their family and friends and remained married until his transition.

Bobby was an entrepreneur (a natural born hustler) and a friend to many in the community. Those that knew him called him “Rizzo”, His jokes and giving spirit always brought joy to those around him. He was always known to crack jokes and keep others laughing.  While some might find swap meets and auctions simply a hobby, it explained part of his character being able to see the value in not only a bargain, but the used and thrown out.

He enjoyed movies and always compared himself to Don Corleon (The Godfather) he introduced his children to great comedy and music. He enjoyed singing, poetry, and even wrote some of his own selections. He will be remembered for his swift thinking and his bold and unfiltered attitude.

Bobby Wright and Eula Mason gifted to the World, Latausha Allen (Andre Sr.) Charles Wright, Troy Wright, Calvin Wright, Christopher Wright, Ashley Wright; seven grandchildren, Andre Allen Jr, Ashley Allen, Kyriyon Allen, Kobe Allen, Joshua Allen, Armand Wright and Amayah Wright. In addition, his wife Jennifer (Harvey) Hunter gifted him his stepdaughter Melissa Hunter and step grandchildren: Eddie and Luka.

Bobby loved and adored his aunt Barbara Wright; brother Jerry Wright (Tracey); sister Shawana Wright; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and loved ones.

Bobby was preceded in his death by his Grandma Willie Mae Wright, his mother Betty, Aunt Dorothy and Uncle T.C Wright.
