Brenda Carol Whitson, 64, of Sedalia, passed away Wednesday, January 30, 2019, at her home.
She was born February 14, 1954, in Kansas City, daughter of Clyde Edward and Ruby Rae (Williams) Whitson.
Brenda served honorably in the Army National Guard, active during Desert Storm.
She worked as a nurse, and enjoyed painting and sewing in her spare time.
Surviving are two children, Valerie Moore and David Moore; three grandchildren, Caleb, Alexander and Madelyn Moore; and six siblings, Finis, Rick, Bruce, Chris, Steve and Nancy Whitson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, William Whitson.
No services are planned.
Arrangements are in the care of Heckart Funeral Home.
