Carie Ann Morrison

June 4, 1968 — April 12, 2025

Warrensburg

Carie Ann Morrison, 56, of Warrensburg, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 12, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family.

She was born June 4, 1968, in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa, the daughter of Ronald and Ann (Chenoweth) Morrison.

Carie was a 1986 graduate and valedictorian of Knob Noster High School. She worked at the family store, Morrison IGA, and later found her professional calling in real estate, where her warm personality and caring heart made her a trusted guide and friend to many.

A devoted Christian and member of Katy Park Baptist Church, Carie’s life was a beautiful reflection of her faith. She was a nurturer by nature—gentle, selfless, and strong. Her kind spirit and easy conversation drew people to her, and she made friends wherever she went. She enjoyed encouraging others with writings that she shared on Facebook.

Carie had a deep love for her family. She found joy in simple pleasures—tending her plants, spending time with her grandchildren, and sharing quiet moments with loved ones. Despite facing health challenges, she remained unwavering in her strength and grace. She prayed for healing, and she received it in the most perfect way—through eternal peace in the presence of her Lord.

Carie is survived by her six daughters, Heather Williams, Raechel Sanchez (Josue), Garaleigh Noland (Uriah), Sevannaugh Wheeler (Taylor), Leighah Silver (Brett), and Baeleigh Aquino; her father, Ron Morrison; her brother, Philip Morrison (Deb); her sister, Catherine Frederick (Jeff); and her beloved grandchildren: Grantley, Rylan, Addelyne, Raymarie, Adrianna, Greyson, Indiana, Warren, Scottie, Morgan, and Michael.

She was reunited in heaven with her husband, Gary Noland, and her mother, Ann Morrison.

The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 18, 2025, at Heckart Funeral Home, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Knob Noster Cemetery.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Good Shepherd Hospice.
