Carl Wayne Smith, 57, of Sedalia, died Wednesday, August 29, 2018, at Bothwell Regional Health Center.
He was born September 28, 1960, son of Carl L. and Ruby Frances (Townsend) Smith.
Carl was an easy going guy who enjoyed life. He loved his motorcycles and tinkering with mechanical things. He enjoyed listening to music, and spending time with friends and his grandkids.
Surviving are his son, Carl F. Smith and his wife, Lisa; a stepson, Shawn Waggoner and his wife, Nicole; eight grandchildren: Carla, Ryan, Josephine, Michael, Josh, Heidi, Justin and Brent; and a sister, Glenda Smith.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a stepdaughter, Melissa Waggoner; and a grandson, Chris.
No services are planned at this time.
Cremation arrangements are in the care of Heckart Funeral Home.
