Carla Sue Henderson, 64, of Otterville, passed away Tuesday, November 28, 2017, at University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia
She was born February 8, 1953, in Kansas City, the daughter of Gilbert Ray Campbell and Marlayne (Close) Beemer.
Carla was a lover of animals. She enjoyed dancing and singing, and was also a talented seamstress. She enjoyed spending time with her friends in “The Dear’s Club.” She was a member of Lake Creek United Methodist Church. She worked many years for Neet Products.
She is survived by her mother, Marlayne Beemer, of Sedalia; her significant other, Billy Watring, of the home; three sons, Bryon Henderson (Casey), Brad Henderson (Valerie), and Clint Henderson (Leslie), all of Smithton; nine grandchildren, Haley, Tyler, Emilee, Paige, Logan, Brooklyn, Samantha, Drake, and Audrey; two sisters, Marla Franklin, of Sedalia, and Lauren Kennedy, of Independence; a brother, Rick Beemer, of Kirkwood; and her stepmother Emma Campbell, of Sedalia.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Private services will be held.
Casket bearers will be Bryon Henderson, Brad Henderson, Clint Henderson, Chris Franklin, Greg Franklin and Kevin Franklin.
Entombment will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday, December 1, at Heckart Funeral Home.
Memorials are suggested to the family.
