Carol Ann Schuman

Carol Ann Schuman, 74, of Sedalia, passed away Monday, December 23, 2024, at her home.

She was born August 9, 1950, in St. Louis, daughter of Ernest and Phyllis Pilz.

On February 10, 2018, she was united in marriage to James Schuman.

In her early years, Carol worked as a nurse’s aide. Later she babysat and taught in church school. She enjoyed flowers, collecting angels, long country drives, and sitting at the dining room table watching the birds out the window. A devoted member of First Baptist Church, she loved to share the gospel on Facebook. She will be remembered for her kindred spirit and great heart.

Surviving are her husband, Jim, of the home; and a sister, Phyllis Strickhouser, of Yuma, AZ.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Ernie Pilz.

Cremation arrangements are in the care of Heckart Funeral Home.
