Carol Sue Kennedy, 76, of Sedalia, passed away Monday, October 28, 2013, at her home.
She was born November 22, 1936, in Chicago, IL, daughter of Donald Maxwell and Erma Pounds Kennedy.
Carol retired from Standard Oil Company in Chicago. She was a member of Broadway Presbyterian Church, Helen G. Steele Music Club, Sorosis Club, the Welcome Club and American Business Women’s Association. She was personal friends with actress and singer Jane Froman, and started her first fan club. She loved animals.
Surviving are nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, William Kennedy.
Memorial services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday at Heckart Funeral Home, with the Rev. Rob Hughes officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Sedalia Animal Shelter or Broadway Presbyterian Church.
