Carolyn Kay Tyler, 81, of Sedalia passed away Friday, May 24, 2024. She was born September 14, 1942, in Rocky Ford, Colorado, to Roy and Fern Snow.
Carolyn was a 1960 graduate of Manzanola High School in Colorado, a 1974 graduate of Otero Junior College in Colorado. Carolyn retired as Mid-West Regional Director of OATS, Inc. She previously worked as a Case Manager for Pettis County Division of Family Services and enjoyed volunteering for multiple organizations including Hospice, Birthright, teaching Red Cross CPR/First Aid. Carolyn loved gardening, fishing, camping, spending time with family. She will be greatly missed, forever in our hearts.
Survivors include her children; daughter Dana(Brent) Boice, son Jeff Tyler, daughter Tonya Tyler, grandchildren; Tyler Boice, Nicholas Boice, David Tyler, Brelyn Tyler, Londyn Love, Natalya Lenger, Mykalin Davidson, bonus grandson Silver(Ally) Rosas, and eight great-grandchildren. Additional survivors include brothers Larry (Cheri) Crowder, Buddy Crowder, sisters; Willie Garcia, Billie Jean Valdez, Jackie(Noah) McKelvin. Many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her son Rodney Tyler, her parents Fern Crowder, Roy Snow, Ralph Crowder, and sister Sharon Chambers.
Graveside services will be held on September 14, 2024, at Mountainview Cemetery in Manzanola, Colorado.
