Charlotte G. Lefevers

Charlotte Genevieve (Cesario) Lefevers, 86, of Sedalia, passed away Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at Bothwell Regional Health Center.

She was born December 3, 1934, in Chicago, IL, a daughter of the late Anthony Charles and Mamie (Taube) Cesario. On December 19, 1959, in Chicago, she married Arthur Wayne Lefevers, who preceded her in death in 1991.

Charlotte was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was an avid card player and loved to play Texas Hold ‘Em and Pitch. She enjoyed painting, growing potted plants and flowers, fishing, playing Bingo and dancing.

She is survived by three children: Alan Lefevers, of Delray Beach, FL, Cheryl Crystal (Kraig), of Green Ridge, and Mary Lefevers, of Sedalia; a brother: Anthony Cesario (Kathy), of Berwyn, IL; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Anthony John Lefevers and a sister, Rose (Cesario) Adams.

Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at Heckart Funeral Home with Rev. Duane Duchesne officiating. Pallbearers will be Chad Crystal, Bryan Crystal, Gino Lefevers, Daniel French, Carl Lefevers and Mike Lefevers. Burial will follow in Miller’s Chapel Cemetery.

Visitation will be 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. Monday, April 26, 2021 at the funeral home.

The family suggests memorial contributions to Open Door Ministries, The Children’s Therapy Center or Boys and Girls Club in care of Heckart Funeral Home.
