Christina Marie Garcia, 28, of Sedalia, passed away Monday, May 23, 2016, at her home.
She was born March 1, 1988, in Shawnee, KS, daughter of Billy and Tammy Simmons Banks.
Christina always put others before herself. She loved to have fun and spend time with her friends. Her goal in life was to be a good mom to her son. She attended LifePointe Church.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Brandon; a son, Michael Garcia, of the home; a brother, Joe Banks, of Sedalia; her grandmother, Joy Wheeler; and grandfather, John Hodge.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Don Wheeler; and grandmother, Fannie Mae Hodge.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 27, 2016, at Heckart Funeral Home, with Chad North officiating.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time Friday at Heckart Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to an education fund for her son, Michael, with checks made payable to Billy Banks.
