Christopher Michael Burgess, 32, of Sedalia, passed away Tuesday, July 4, 2023, at his home.
He was born on March 1, 1991, in Lee’s Summit, MO.
Chris worked as a certified HVAC technician in the Sedalia area. He could take anything apart and put it back together. Chris really enjoyed building drones and fishing. He also enjoyed the times he got to go skydiving two different times.
Chris is survived by his parents, Mark and Rebecca Smith of Sedalia; one sister, Lynda Cheri Nease of St. Joseph, MO; paternal grandparents, Georgetta and James Clegg of Rogersville, MO.
He was preceded in death by a younger brother, Nicholas Tyler Smith; maternal grandparents, Robert Burgess and Linda Kay Belsha; paternal grandfather, Noel Michael Smith.
There are no services scheduled at this time. Arrangements are in the care of Heckart Funeral Home in Sedalia.
