Christopher Salmons

Christopher David Salmons, 40, of Warsaw, passed away Sunday, March, 23, 2025.

He was born on May 9, 1984, in Fort Hood, TX, a son of Robert Don Salmons, Sr. and Monique Louise Garner. On May 10, 2006, in Warsaw, he married Angela Marie Yoast who survives of the home.

Chris honorably served in the United States Army for ten years, courageously completing two tours-one in Iraq and another in Afghanistan. His dedication to his country was only matched by his deep love for his family.

Chris was a man of adventure and joy. He found peace in the great outdoors, whether camping under the stars, spending time at the lake, or embarking on new adventures. But his greatest happiness came from the laughter and love of his children. He cherished every moment of family time, never missing an opportunity to create memories-whether through playful Nerf gun wars, heartfelt conversations, or simply being present for those he loved.

Chris leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and faith. He will be deeply missed by his children, family, and all who had the honor of knowing him.

Survivors include his wife Angela; two children, Damon Michael Salmons and Ellianna Raine Salmons; his father and step-mother, Robert and Edith Salmons of Warsaw; his mother and step-father, Monique and Jim Bullock; one sister, Stephanie Ann Salmons of Sedalia; one brother, Robert Don Salmons, Jr, of Warsaw; one step-sister, Candis Christianson of Andover, KS; two step-brothers, Matthew West of Moberly, and John Brookman of Columbia; several nieces and nephews and his Brothers in Arms.

Chris was preceded in death by one stepbrother, Zachary Eujene West.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until service time on Sunday, March 30, 2025, at Heckart Funeral Home in Sedalia. Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions are suggested to the family and checks can be made to Angela Salmons.
