Daryl E. Umbles

Daryl Eugene Umbles, 64, of Columbia, passed away Monday, September 6, 2021, at his home.

He was born December 27, 1956, in Sedalia, son of Helen (Umbles) Hill.

On June 12, 2005, in Columbia, he married Cynthia (Stapleton).

Daryl worked in maintenance for the University of Missouri and Walmart. He loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed playing dominoes, listening to music and watching movies. Daryl was very charismatic and took pride in being well groomed.

Surviving are his wife, Cynthia; five children, Olympia, Daryl, Marlon, Michael and Cherelle; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and siblings: Kenny, Sharon, Reginald, Byron, Rima (Howard), Garlen (Lee), Verhonda (Chris), Tamara, Candace (Traves) and Nicole.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Marlon and Casey.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 11, 2021, at Crown Hill Cemetery. Meet at the cemetery at 12:30 p.m.
