David E. Dawson
David Eugene Dawson, 55, of Sedalia, passed away Friday, April 24, 2015, at Bothwell Regional Health Center.
He was born November 23, 1959, in Sedalia, son of Marvin Lee and Betty McLaughlin Dawson.
David loved to arrowhead hunt, fish and camp. He was a talented bowler and once bowled a 300 and was awarded a gold ring at Broadway Lanes. He was a member of Bethany Baptist Church.
Surviving are his mother, Betty Dawson, of the home; a brother, Ron Dawson, of Florence; a sister, Jeannie Edwards, of Sedalia; two nephews, Tanner Edwards and J.R. Hicks; and two nieces, Sheena Rauhoff and Shelley Hicks.
He was preceded in death by his father, Marvin Dawson; and a sister, Patsy Hicks.
Memorial services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 2, 2015, at Heckart Funeral Home, with the Rev. Mike Cooper officiating.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
