Dee Moore, 88, of Smithton, passed away in his home on Tuesday evening, March 14, 2017.
Dee was born on September 21, 1928, in Sedalia, the son of Joseph Robert and Leone (Shaw) Moore.
On August 5, 1949, he was united in marriage to Shirley Mae Donath, who preceded him in death on September 8, 2003.
Dee retired from Pittsburg Corning after 45 years, where he was a welder.
Dee was a hard worker who loved to farm and fix things. He loved his family deeply.
Dee is survived by his three children, David Moore (Tracey), Gary Moore and Judy Moore; four grandchildren, Lori, Lesa, Alia (Paul), and Lincoln; eleven great-grandchildren; two great- great-grandchildren; and three siblings, Glenn (Deanna), Donald (Ginger) and Pat.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers,: J.L., Bob and Buddy; and sister, Betty Lou.
No memorial services have been planned at this time.
Burial will be at a later date at Crown Hill Cemetery.
