Delva Enola Robinett, affectionately known as Nola, passed away peacefully on September 12, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Buffalo, Missouri on October 15, 1942, Nola lived a life marked by her deep Christian faith, her joy in church activities, and her love for family.
Nola was an avid golfer who enjoyed the camaraderie of the game. She was skilled at sewing and would create her own patterns. She was musically inclined, learning, writing, and playing songs on her guitar and keyboard. She had an outgoing personality that manifested in her flamboyant style, which often included a signature hat adorned with a ribbon or scarf. Her greatest joy, however, was her family. Nola cherished spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and her heart was warmed by their presence.
She is survived by her three children, Kay Mayernik (Tom), Jimmy Bailey, and Debbie Spooner (Mike). Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Lisa Bloomfield (Scott), Tiffany Lumpe (Nick), Toni Brown (Aaron), and Kayla Bailey, as well as her six great-grandchildren, Jordan, Bryce, Brianah, Adilyn, Amiah and Adalyn.
Nola is preceded in death by her parents, nine siblings, her beloved husband, Jim Bailey (d. 1990), and her beloved husband Gene Robinett (d. 2018). Her spirit and memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her, and she will be dearly missed.
