Dennis Dale Parker, 65, of Sedalia, passed away on December 2, 2021, at Boone Hospital in Columbia, MO.
He was born January 5, 1956, in Sedalia, MO, a son of Richard E. Parker, Sr., and Dora Jane Ditzfeld.
Dennis was a 1974 graduate of Smith-Cotton High School. He worked for Pittsburgh Corning now Owens Corning for 45 years. In his younger years he enjoyed hunting and fishing. Dennis liked going to the casino, gardening, being at the farm and his animals. He loved spending time with his grandsons every weekend. For many years Dennis would participate in the Bothwell Foundation Lub Dub. He was a steady attendant of the Nutcracker performance in Sedalia every year. Dennis will be remembered by his nieces and nephews for always giving them a hard time and harassing them.
Survivors include two daughters, Courtney Parker (Todd) of Syracuse, Julia Hogg (James) of Great Falls, Montana; five brothers, Robert Parker (Nancy) of Sedalia, Paul Parker (Bree) of La Monte, Dave Parker (Brenda) of Aurora, Colorado, Richard E. Parker, Jr. of Sedalia, Steve Parker (Julie) of Edmonds, Oklahoma; one sister, Diane Thomas (Ron) of Sedalia, MO; two grandsons, Coy and Hunter Burnett; his lifelong partner, Celia Bohon; nieces and nephews, Josh, Kristina, Brandon, Quinten, Alex-Paul, Jacob, Elektra, Melissa, Sara, David, Katie and Michael.
In addition to both of his parents he was preceded in death by one sister at birth, Debbie Parker.
There are no services scheduled for Dennis and his wishes were to be cremated.
