Dennis W. Albrecht
Dennis Wayne Albrecht, 68, of Norborne, passed away Tuesday, November 7, 2017, at University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia.
He was born February 5, 1949, in Carrollton, son of Glenn and Judy Albrecht.
On November 1, 2017, in Sedalia, he was married to Mary L. Waters Green.
Dennis was a 1967 graduate of Norborne High School and a 1972 graduate of Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg. After college he taught elementary P.E. in Brookfield. In 1980, he returned to the family farm in Norborne.
He was a member of the Norborne Lions Club and the Norborne Volunteer Fire Department. He enjoyed fishing and going to “the boats” with Mary. His motto was “Tuck and Roll.”
Survivors include his wife, Mary Waters Albrecht; his mother, Judy (Norma) Albrecht; sisters, Nancy Coe and Mary Jane Albrecht; brother, David Albrecht and his wife Betty; mother-in-law, Lois Waters Wood and her husband John Wood; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Glenn Albrecht; and sister, Linda Albrecht Sims.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Sunday, November 12, at The Goppert Building in Norborne.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Norborne Lions Club.
Arrangements are in the care of Heckart Funeral Home in Sedalia.
