Dilbert Gale Clark, 71, of Mora, passed away Thursday, May 3, 2018, at University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia.
He was born July 6, 1946, in Sedalia, son of Elmer Clark and Mary Jane (Yoft) Clark.
On June 11, 1994, in Sedalia, he was married to Brenda Fay (Barnett).
Dilbert worked for Hayes Wheels and also as a carpenter for Furnell Companies. His favorite hobbies were hunting and fishing, but he was also a skilled woodworker and enjoyed building buildings. Dilbert will be remembered as a good man and a sweet soul. He was loved by everybody and will be greatly missed.
In addition to his wife, Brenda, he is survived by nine children: Lisa Clark, Sandy Webb, Dilbert Clark Jr., Amy Clark, Crystal Jones, Tina McCue, Jeremiah Jones, Fay Clark and Levi Clark; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and three brothers, Walter Clark (Frances), Don Clark (Judy), and Ed Clark (Sharon).
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Sissy; and a brother, Leon.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 9, at Heckart Funeral Home.
Casket bearers will be Dilbert Clark Jr., Corey Harris, Linda Meek, Lana Kentner, Bobby Barnett and Levi Clark.
Honorary bearers will be Dalton Boyer, Anthony Salmons, Jeremy Mullins, Ricky Longie, Tyler Hill, James Lee Logan, Jeremiah Jones, Travis Davis and Blake Brandkamp.
Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
