Donald G. Gochenour
Donald Glenn Gochenour, 84, of Otterville, passed away Monday, August 15, 2016, at Fair View Nursing Home.
He was born April 22, 1932, in Jefferson City, son of Earl H. and Edith L. Speaker Gochenour.
On September 21, 1957, he was married to Mary Collyott, who preceded him in death on April 16, 2000.
Don graduated from Otterville High School in 1950. He served in the U.S. Navy for four years.
He worked at Town and Country Shoes for 32 years and also worked at the Otterville Public School as a custodian. During his retirement, he worked at Walmart.
He is survived by his brother, Jimmy Dean Gochenour, of Slater.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Billye Ann Young on March 4, 2008, and Bonnie Jean Landreth on April 3, 2014.
A private graveside service will be held at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Otterville following cremation.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Crossroads Hospice.
Arrangements are under the direction of Heckart Funeral Home.
