Donald G. Hall, 62, of Versailles, passed away Sunday, April 10, 2022, at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City.
He was born August 25, 1959 and was baptized as a child at Epworth United Methodist Church in Sedalia. On January 17, 1987, he was married to Barbara A. (Southard) Hall in Rolla.
Don started with the International Operating Engineers Union Local 101 in 1994 and retired on January 1, 2022. During the 27 years of service, he worked for and with many companies in several locations.
He enjoyed fishing, camping and hunting. In his younger years, he enjoyed roller-skating, square dancing and country dancing. He loved his hobby farm and caring for all his animals. He was a hard worker, loyal Union member, and a loving, caring husband, father and grandfather.
Surviving are his wife of 35 years, Barbara and brother, Kenneth Hall, Jr. of Sedalia and three children, Krista Corbett and her husband, Bryan, of Ridgeway, Keith Hall and his wife, Jodi, of Waverly, and Kari Touhey and her husband, Ryan, of Springfield. Five grandchildren, Kinser and Chance Corbett, Quinn and Rowan Touhey, and Ainsley Hall.
He was preceded in death by his father Kenneth Hall, Sr. and mother Georgie (Hartley) Hall and sister Lois (Thomas) Larson.
Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at Heckart Funeral Home in Sedalia. A private burial will be held at a later date.
Memorials may be given to a charity of the donor’s choice.
