Donald H. Laudenberger, 79, of Sedalia, passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2014, at Four Seasons Living Center.
He was born June 9, 1934, in Sedalia, son of Charles Milton and Willa Zelda Payne Laudenberger, who preceded him in death.
Donald was a 1952 graduate of Smith-Cotton High School. He served in the U.S. Army from 1957 to 1959. He spent most of his life in Anaheim, CA, where he worked for Farmers Insurance Group as an underwriter. He returned to Sedalia in 1999, after suffering a stroke. He spent his remaining years in Four Seasons Living Center. He was a member of First Baptist Church.
Surviving are a sister, Charlene “Charlee” Brown, of Sedalia; and a brother, Jerry Laudenberger, of Sedalia.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Heckart Funeral Home, with the Rev. Ted Francis officiating.
Casket bearers will be Carroll Howard, Mike McDermott, Dick Ryan, Fred Smith, Bill Rabourn and Norm Klein.
Burial will be in Hopewell Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Heckart Funeral Home.
