Donald Wayne Crum, 66, of Stover, passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2014, at his home.
He was born May 26, 1947, in Hughesville, son of Clarence and Lena Agnes Morrison Crum. On October 30, 1993, in Sedalia, he married Wendill J. Ritchie, who survives of the home.
Mr. Crum was a heavy equipment operator. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and helping people. He was a U.S. Army veteran of Vietnam.
In addition to his wife, survivors include four children: Clay Davis, of Marshall, Tammy Day, of Marshall, Carla Day, of Stover, and Donald Day II, of Stover; 16 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a brother, Clarence Crum Jr., of Centralia; and two sisters, Kathryn Aldrich, of Sedalia, and Rose Bowring, of Arizona.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister and four brothers.
Graveside services with military honors will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 24, at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, with the Rev. Duane Duchesne officiating.
Casket bearers will be grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Heckart Funeral Home in Sedalia.
