Donna Lee Hayworth, 78, of Sedalia, passed away Saturday, October 21, 2023, at Sylvia G. Thompson Residence Center.
She was born June 12, 1945, in Sedalia, daughter of Waldo and Georgia (Laxson) Fuchs.
On June 22, 1963, she was married to Edward Lee Hayworth, who died November 10, 2001.
Donna worked at Horace Mann Elementary School in food service before her retirement. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, where she served on the Altar Guild for many years.
Surviving are two daughters, Tracy Garrison (Bill) and Julie Hamilton (Jimmy); five grandchildren, Andrew Garrison (Jessica), Seth Garrison (Kaitlyn), Ethan Garrison (Kayla), Austin Ross (Jessica), and Madison Ross; ten great-grandchildren, Hayden, Shanon, Edward, Madalyn, Bennett, Ezekiel and Titus Garrison, and Krystian, Avery and Ariel Ross.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her sister, Patricia A. Perkins; and a great-granddaughter, Jayden Ross.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 27, 2023, at Heckart Funeral Home, with Rev. Jeremy Freeman officiating.
Casket bearers will be Austin Ross, Doug Spratley, Jared Spratley, Jimmy Hayworth, Steve Hayworth and Madison Ross.
Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, October 26, 2023, at Heckart Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church or Crossroads Hospice.
