Donna R. Knerl Lingle
Donna R. Knerl Lingle, 83, of Blue Springs, formerly of Sedalia and Bartlesville, OK, passed away Sunday, April 24, 2016, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Blue Springs, MO.
She was born August 17, 1932, in Sedalia, daughter of Floyd and Elsie Wiegand Knerl.
Donna graduated from Smith-Cotton High School in 1950 and worked as a customer service representative for Macy’s until her retirement.
She is survived by two children, Kim Lingle (Jeanine), of Village of Loch Lloyd, MO; Tammy Davis (Bill), of Columbus, OH; four grandchildren, Ryan Lingle, Meghan Lingle, Kelly Davis and Melanie Davis; a sister, Dorothy Schwermer, of Bartlesville, OK; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother-in-law, Ted Schwermer.
Private services will be held Saturday, May 7, at Heckart Funeral Home, with Pastor Cathy Jurgens officiating. Friends may sign the guest book from now until the day of service at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Memorials contributions are suggested to Vesper Hall Senior Center in Blue Springs for Meals on Wheels, 400 NW Vesper Street, Blue Springs, MO 64014.
The family invites friends to a luncheon at noon on Saturday, May 7, at Deer Brook Villas, 960 Mitchell Road, in Sedalia.
