Donny A. Ray

Donny Allen Ray, 66, of Sedalia, passed away Monday, August 19, 2024, at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia.

He was born January 15, 1958, in Marked Tree, AR, son of Opal Marie Ray.

Donny was a United States Army veteran, serving during the Vietnam era. He worked as a long-haul truck driver and in heavy equipment construction. He enjoyed working on and restoring things. Donny was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Surviving are four children, Heather Ray, Jennifer Ray, Audrey Williams, and Nicholas Ray; eight grandchildren; and three siblings, Brenda Sipes (Billy), Tonya Ray (Laura), and Kenny Ray.

He was preceded in death by his mother; a grandson, Jacob Miller; and a niece, Chasitylynn Ray.

No services are planned.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Heckart Funeral Home.
