As we remember our beloved mother that left her earthly home on May 10
th
, 2021 surrounded by her daughters, we celebrate her life.
Dorothy L. White Ream was born Feb. 9
th
, 1924 in Fayette, MO, a daughter of Myrtle Dulany White and John Hubbell White, who preceded her in death. She attended Clinton Public Schools in Clinton until the 7
th
grade when her family moved to Sedalia, where she attended Smith-Cotton High School and graduated in 1942.
She was a vibrant woman with a wonderful sense of humor and a little bit of sass. Just being around her could brighten your day. Her laugh was infectious. She was strong and independent. She was smart and kind. She stood tall and had grace through adversity because of her strong faith in the Lord.
She enjoyed playing games, cards, coloring and watching movies with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Just being around family made her the happiest and was her greatest joy.
Leaving behind to forever hold dear in our hearts are her three daughters: Donna Carman (Don) of Selden, NY and their children, Danny Padrazo (Fran), David Padrazo (Annette), Michael Padrazo, and Christopher Padrazo (Liz); Linda Gibbs (Terry) of Sedalia, MO and their children, Heather Foster (Shawn); and Eileen Pearl (Harry) of Norman, OK and their children, Stacy Fleming (Jason), Jamie Pearl, and Linsey Vaughn (Christopher); 19 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; her sister, Donly Dehn of Clinton, MO; and a niece, Debbie Wilson (John) of Montrose, MO.
Friends may pay their respects and sign the guest book on Thursday, May 13, 2021 from 8:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Heckart Funeral Home in Sedalia.
