E. Loujene Ream

Esther Loujene Ream, 91, of Sedalia, died Tuesday, May 15, 2018, at Sylvia G. Thompson Residence Center.

She was born March 23, 1927, in Sedalia, daughter of Henry S. and Minerva V. (Bullard) Ritchey.

On January 9, 1949, in Sedalia, she married Roy Ream.

Esther enjoyed cooking, sewing and card parties. Her family was very important to her and she especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was a caring lady and will be greatly missed.

Surviving are her son, Larry Ream (Melody), of Sedalia; and four grandchildren, Mark Ream, Katherine Romantsov (Max), Phillip Ream and Jo Ream.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Irene Heck; and a brother, Forrest Ritchey.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 18, at Crown Hill Cemetery, with Pastor Larry Hill officiating.

The family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. until service time Friday at Heckart Funeral Home.
