Edna Vale Kindle, 72, of Sedalia, passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2017, at her home, surrounded by her family.
She was born March 8, 1944, in Sedalia, daughter of Arthur Blake and Marie Elizabeth Schupp Gilmore.
She was a graduate of Smith-Cotton High School
On a beautiful Monday night in Kansas in May of 1964, she was married to Alfred M. Kindle, who survives of the home.
Edna enjoyed reading, gardening, growing flowers and listening to Christian music. Her family was her world and her grandkids brought her the greatest joy. She will be remembered as faithful, kind and beautiful inside and out. Al and Edna hosted many charity events at their farm to support the community. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband, Alfred, she is survived by four children, Shannon Zerilli (Martin), Tom Kindle (Cassie), Jason Kindle (Kim), and Nicole Ramey (Tyler), all of Sedalia; eight grandchildren, Dominic, Colton, Madeline, Brody, Eli, Brandon (Nikki), Joshua (Anna), and Kaylee; her brother, Bill Gilmore; and her soul sister, Beverly King.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Evelyn Naylor; and a brother, Bob Gilmore.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
