Elaine M. Ferguson
Elaine M. Ferguson, 86, of Sedalia, passed away Saturday, February 17, 2018.
She was born February 10, 1932, in Sanford, NC, daughter of Felton McKinney and Elnora (Ferguson) McKinney.
Elaine was a stay at home mom for many years. Later, she became a realtor in Stuart Florida, and when she moved to Sedalia worked in the jewelry department at J.C. Penney before retiring. She loved creating and caring for her flower gardens, but the most important thing to her was always her family.
Surviving are three children, Stewart Ferguson and wife Donna, of Sedalia, Pamela Brown, of Albany, NY, and Michael Ferguson, of Phoenix, AZ; a granddaughter, Michelle Booth and husband Andy; and a great-granddaughter, Audrey Elaine.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Nathan McKinney; and a sister, Nancy Teague.
Should friends desire, contributions may be sent to the Sedalia Animal Shelter.
A memorial service will be held at a future date.
