Eldon Floyd Coleman, 67, of Sedalia, died Thursday, March 6, 2014, near Hughesville, as a result of an auto accident.
He was born March 30, 1946, in Hutchinson, KS, son of Floyd Joseph and Ethel Mae Clifford Coleman. He was married to Melissa Coleman.
Mr. Coleman was a pharmacist at Walgreen’s. He enjoyed cigars and traveling.
Surviving are three children from a previous marriage to Deborah Alice Bragg: Dawn Bradley (Kobi), of Prairie Village, KS, Heather Johnson (Scott), of Olathe, KS, and William Robert Coleman (Charmei), of Edmond, OK; his mother, Ethel Coleman, of Bonner Springs, KS; nine grandchildren: Dale, Krey, Madi, Simon, Emma, Abi, Charlie, Campbell and Carter; and a sister, Barbara Lugenbill, of Kansas City, KS.
He was preceded in death by his father, and a sister, Delores Atkinson.
Memorial services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 14, at Heckart Funeral Home, with the Rev. Dan Hankins officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time Friday.
Burial will be later in Hutchinson, KS.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the National Parkinson Foundation.
