Elizabeth Ann Crum Schilb, 90, passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2024.
She was born August 22, 1933, in LaMonte, a daughter of the late John and Lois (Ward) Curtis. On August 30, 1950, in Harrison, AR, she was married to Billy Crum who preceded her in death after 42 years of marriage.
Ann was a member of First Baptist Church. She was a cook at Smith-Cotton High School and babysat many kids in her home.
She enjoyed quilting, embroidery, crochet, flowers, and especially fishing. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
Survivors include three children, Michael D. Crum (Rose), of Sublette, KS, Sharon K. Jordan (Paul), of Cabot, AR, and Peggy A. Crum, of Osage Beach; a sister, Jane Harrison, of LaMonte; daughter-in-law, Tammy Crum, of Hughesville; seven grandchildren, Christopher Hatfield, Lysa Schield, Sarah Sharp, Sheila Margossian, Angela Bryant, Paul Jordan, Jr., and Rhonda Brooks; and 11 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two sons, David W. Crum and Danny R. Crum; and siblings Jeanette Moore, Jerry Curtis, Dorothy Hefner, Cecil “Buck” Curtis, Ray Curtis, Tom Curtis, Valinda Rossi, Margie Bess Williams and Jay Curtis.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 6, 2024, at Heckart Funeral Home followed by a graveside service at 11:00 a.m. in Crown Hill Cemetery, with Rev. Deb Galey officiating.
Pallbearers will be Jim Harrison, Mark Harrison, Chris Hatfield, Paul Jordan Jr., Paul Jordan Sr. and Sarah Sharp.
Elizabeth was a resident of Sylvia G. Thompson Residence Center since January 2020. The family is grateful to the staff for the wonderful care she received.
