Ella Mae Bowles, 83, of Sedalia, passed away Thursday, October 26, 2023 at Sylvia G. Thompson Residence Center.
She was born July 6, 1940 in Elkton, MO a daughter of Elvin and Velma Grace (Meyers) Driskill.
Ella was a graduate of Weaubleau High School. She was a member at Zion Lutheran Church in Corder, MO, and she had worked many years as a beautician. Ella enjoyed music and dancing especially the two-step. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
Survivors include six children, Rick Limback (Jeanette) of Warsaw, MO, Diana Carroll (Chuck) of La Monte, MO, Larry Limback of Sedalia, MO, Pam Curry (Lovell) of Houstonia, MO, Curt Limback of Independence, MO, and Donny Tanner (Kim) of Sedalia, MO; three brothers, Carl Driskill of Belton, MO, Gene Driskill of Ash Grove, MO, Dale Driskill of Farmington, MO; one sister, Leta Hutchison of Nevada, MO; 15 grandchildren, Jamie Cooper, Heather Ross, Ashley Washington, David Odom. April Odom, Danielle Mallard, Nathan Hayworth, Lucas Hayworth, Rusty Hayworth, Austin Limback, Mattie Limback, Samantha Limback, Caitlyn Tanner, Courtney Tanner and Corbett Tanner; and 30 great-grandchildren.
In addition to both of her parents she was preceded in death by one daughter, Debbie Odom and one brother, Jimmy Daughtery.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until service time on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at Heckart Funeral Home in Sedalia. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home with burial to follow in the La Monte Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Austin Limback, Corbett Tanner, Rusty Hayworth, Lucas Hayworth, Nathan Hayworth, Isaiah Ewert, and Logan Hayworth. Honorary pallbearers will be Bode Hayworth, Nick Cooper, Eli Ewert, Gavin Rae, Remington Hayworth, and David Odom. Memorial contributions are suggested to Crossroads Hospice or American Cancer Society.
