Ellen Brosch

Ellen J. Brosch, 88, of Sedalia, passed away Friday, August 5, 2016, at St. Luke’s Hospice House in Kansas City.

She was born April 21, 1928, in Sedalia, daughter of Arthur and Carrie (Neitzert) Ford. On August 5, 1950, in Sedalia, she married Charles Edward Brosch, who preceded her in death on October 8, 2009.

Mrs. Brosch was a homemaker and enjoyed growing plants, flowers, and gardening.

Surviving are two sons, Charles David Brosch and John Michael Brosch, both of Sedalia; a daughter, Anna Marie Kaiser, of Kansas City; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Annie and Lorene.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by siblings: Goldie, Leonard, Harl, Hazel, Virginia, Irene and Cordelia.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 10, at Heckart Funeral Home, with Jeff Page officiating.

Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at Heckart Funeral Home
