Emmadean Cole

Emmadean Cole, 82, of Otterville, died Monday, April 16, 2018, at Bothwell Regional Health Center.

She was born July 8, 1935, in Liberty Hill, TX, daughter of Roy Lee McCoy and Nelda Lenore (Staton) McCoy.

On December 31, 1953, in Georgetown, TX, she was married to Raymond Lemuel Cole, who preceded her in death on December 16, 1999.

Mrs. Cole was primarily a homemaker but had worked at Places and in the library at Otterville School. She was a Jehovah’s Witness. Her hobbies included quilting, gardening, knitting and traveling. In the past, she wrote stories for the Otterville paper. She was very family oriented. Emmadean always had a smile and a kind word. She will be remembered as a caring and loving lady.

Surviving are four children: Gene Cole, of the home, Judy Cole Lister (Robert), of Sedalia, Bill Cole (Angie), of Otterville, and David R. Cole, of the home; seven grandchildren: Jennifer Lister, Jeff Lister, Brittany Lister (Sasha), Justin Cole (Sydni), Chance Cole, Anna Cole Ramos (Jorge), and Emmalee Maldonado (Ezequiel); ten great-grandchildren: Tyler Lister, Aaron Careins, Ashley Careins, Samantha Lister, Scott Lister, Jacob Blankenship, Shelbi Hutson, Maximus Ramos, Bryan Maldonado and Anthony Maldonado; and a great-great-granddaughter which made five generations, Allison Lister.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by twin sons, Raymond Larry Cole and Russell Lee Cole.

Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, April 28, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 2810 E. Broadway in Sedalia.

Cremation arrangements are in the care of Heckart Funeral Home.
